Nickel Industry pandemic response in partnership with LGUs

Nickel mining companies are among the first responders in providing support to local government in protecting lives and livelihood in their respective host communities as the country suffers from the massive effects of the pandemic.

While much has been done since March, government and the private sector needs to continue working collaboratively to stop or slow down the spread of infection and uphold the welfare of communities in the new normal until the dangers of the pandemic has abated.

The session highlights the experiences and learnings of the LGU and the mining sector in working together to fight the pandemic and ensure the sustainability and stability of their constituents and host communities.
