Carrascal Nickel Corporation (CNC) announces today that in coordination with Carrascal Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Office (MDRRMO) and the local government units, we are continuously monitoring the situation brought about by the 6.7 magnitude earthquake that hit Surigao last Friday.
CNC Emergency Response Team is on stand-by and ready to help those who suffered loss and damages brought about by the earthquake’s impact in the neighboring communities.
CNC conveys it sympathies to affected residents of Surigao City.
As a response, CNC launches today its own humanitarian efforts to provide immediate assistance to the earthquake victims in Surigao City. CNC will coordinate with the City DRRMO for the distribution of potable water, food supplies and medicines.
CNC is willing to lend its heavy duty vehicles and equipment in order to assist in clean-up and recovery efforts.
